Call for Papers

Auf dem Monte Verita in Ascona, Schweiz, werden die Fachgruppe Geschichte der Psychologie der DGPs und die Gesellschaft für Kulturpsychologie vom 23.-25. September 2021 ihre gemeinsame Tagung durchführen.
Schweizer Entwicklungen verschiedener psychologischer Theorien und Wissenssysteme und ihre europäischen Bezüge werden im Mittelpunkt stehen. Dies setzt bei Proto-Psychologien von J. J. Rousseau, J. C. Lavater und J. H. Pestalozzi ein und reicht über Jean Piaget und Carl Gustav Jung sowie deren Weiterführungen bis in die heutige Zeit.
Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt soll den kulturellen und fachhistorischen Entwicklungen der Klinischen Psychologie und Psychotherapie sowie der Ethik gewidmet sein. Beispiele sind die existentialistische Daseinsanalyse (L. Binswanger, M. Boss), die Ethnopsychoanalyse (P. Parin, F. Morgenthaler) und die Themenzentrierte Interaktion der humanistischen Therapien (R. Cohn). Die Kulturpsychologie mit ihren Inhalten, anknüpfend an den Schweizer E. E. Boesch oder andere Autor*innen, wird ebenso den Themenkanon der Tagung bestimmen. Auch Arbeiten zur europäischen Entwicklung der klinischen Psychologie und Kulturpsychologie, die teilweise in Abgrenzung zu oder autonom von Prozessen in der Schweiz erfolgten, sind willkommen. Beiträge von jungen Wissenschaftler*innen werden besonders begrüsst. Die Tagungssprache wird Deutsch sein, wobei einzelne Beiträge in Englisch gehalten werden können.

Anmeldeschluss für Beiträge im Umfang von ca. 250 Wörtern ist der 07.07.2021.

Call for Papers (English)

The DGPs History of Psychology Section and the Society for Cultural Psychology will hold their joint conference in Monte Verita, Ascona, Switzerland, from 23-25th September 2021.
The main focus of the conference will be on Swiss developments of various psychological theories and knowledge systems and their European references. This starts with proto-psychologies by J. J. Rousseau, J. C. Lavater, and J. H. Pestalozzi, and extends through Jean Piaget, Carl Gustav Jung, and their continuations to the present day.
Particular emphasis will be given to the cultural and historical developments in clinical psychology and psychotherapy, as well as to developments in ethics. Examples include the existentialist 'Daseinsanalysis' (L. Binswanger, M. Boss), 'Ethnopsychoanalysis' (P. Parin, F. Morgenthaler), and the humanistic approach of 'Theme-centered Interaction' (R. Cohn). Cultural psychology, with its contents following on from the Swiss born scholar E. E. Boesch and other authors, will also determine the range of topics of the conference. Contributions about the European development of clinical psychology and cultural psychology, which were autonomous or separate from processes in Switzerland, are also welcome. Contributions by young scientists are particularly welcome. The conference language will be German, with the possibility for individual contributions to be held in English.
